We don't buy new vehicles very often. Isn't it better to own them?

• Operational leasing provides exact information on the total costs of individual vehicles.  Contract duration is one of the things which significantly influences the cost.
• A purchased vehicle has to be taken care of by the company for a longer time period, ideally for the five-year depreciation period or even longer.  This is more expensive than leasing.  The older a vehicle is, the more expensive it is for its owner – post-guarantee repairs are more frequent and costly, fuel consumption is higher than with newer models of the same brand, etc.
• Purchasing vehicles does not enable acquire new ones in a timely way.  The vehicles become old and worn and maintenance and other costs are higher.
• The advantages to the environment of frequent fleet renewal are innumerable, which has become an important aspect of choosing vehicles.
